Russia has carried out massive missile and drone attacks on various cities of Ukraine. The death toll in these attacks on Friday morning has increased to 30 people. Many were injured.
The Ukrainian Air Force said that Russian forces had never attacked so many cities in Ukraine at the same time before.
According to preliminary data provided by the Ukrainian military, Russia carried out 158 airstrikes in different areas of the country yesterday. Out of this, 114 missiles and drones have been destroyed.
After a long period of being on the defensive, Russia has recently stepped up its attacks on Ukraine. In the meantime, this attack was carried out yesterday.
According to the Ukrainian government, the country's capital Kyiv, the city of Liv in the west, Odesa and Zaporizhzhya in the south, and Dnipro and Kharkiv in the east were attacked on this day.
Ukraine's chief consul Adri Kostin confirmed the casualty in the Russian attack in a post on social media.
The head of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valery Zaluzhny, said that Russia attacked with Iran-made Shahid drones. He said, that after that, Russia launched 55 cruise missiles, five aeroballistic missiles, and several anti-radar missiles at various targets.
