Actor Karan Veer Mehra was crowned the winner of India's popular reality show 'Bigg Boss 18'. He won a gold trophy along with a cash prize of Rs 50 lakh as a prize. Winner's name was announced on Sunday night and the host of the show, actor Salman Khan.
Apart from Karan, there was another finalist in this grand finale, Vivian D'Sena. Three months ago, Karan won the crown of the reality show 'Khatro Ke Khiladi 14'.
Expressing his feelings in an interview given to ANI, Karan said, 'I am very happy. I believed in myself. I worked hard. Coming here, I have rediscovered myself.'
Karan's fight with Vivian D'Sena was a bitter one. He told Vivian, "When two people fight for a trophy, there is bound to be bitterness in the relationship. But I was also jealous of her."

Because he got everything very easily. And I've said this many times on the show. But he's really a very good person. And that's why I like him.'
The big attraction of the finale today was the presence of Bollywood actor Aamir Khan. Aamir came to the event for the first time. Today, the two actors brought back scenes from the 1994 hit film 'Andaz Apna Apna' on stage. Aamir rode on host Salman Khan's bike. The popular song from the film 'Do Mastane Chale Zindagi Bane' was playing in the background.
Incidentally, Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor came to the Bigg Boss finale stage today to promote their upcoming film 'Loveyapaa'.
Before announcing the winner, Salman Khan started the grand finale ceremony with an emotional message to the families of the top six finalists of 'Bigg Boss-18'. Later, the finalists and other contestants performed a few dances. And then the elimination phase began.
In this phase, Esha Singh was the first to be eliminated, she was in sixth place. Then actor Chum Darang was eliminated. Then the others were eliminated one by one. Avinash Mishra was the third finalist in the race for the grand prize. In the end, Rajat Dalal, despite reaching the top three, was eliminated.
