Apple uses the settings options on multiple iPhone features to ask for permission to use user information. The company then sends information, including users' internet usage history, to multiple third-party apps and websites.

Using this information, various organizations review ad audiences and ad effectiveness. Therefore, security expert Chip Hallett, author of 'The Ultimate Privacy Playbook', has advised iPhone users to be careful about using three options to keep their personal information safe.

Chip Hallett said that the 'Privacy Preserving Ad Measurement' option of the Safari browser on the iPhone should be turned off. When it is turned on, the type of ads users view or click on are sent to third-party websites. Although Apple says that it does not send users' personal information directly privacy is protected.

However, those who want to keep their online history information private should turn off this setting. To turn off the setting, first open the iPhone's Settings app and go to the Safari option. Then, go to the 'Advanced' option at the very bottom and turn off the 'Privacy Preserving Ad Measurement' toggle.

The second option is tracking. Various apps and websites review user information and display ads when the tracking option is enabled. The option can be turned off by selecting the tracking option from the 'Privacy and Security' menu in 'Settings' and selecting 'Allow apps to track'.

Hallett also warned users about the recently unveiled Apple Intelligence feature. He said that Apple's artificial intelligence technology works with information from various apps. To prevent this feature from collecting personal information, you need to go to the Apple Intelligence & Siri menu from Settings.

There, you need to turn off three options - Learn from this app, Suggested apps, and Suggested notifications.
