Israeli forces have launched simultaneous strikes on Yemen, Lebanon, and Gaza in Palestine. These attacks began on Friday night local time. The largest-scale strike was in Yemen. In addition, Israeli forces have again attacked Lebanon in violation of the ceasefire.
Meanwhile, Israeli airstrikes and ground attacks on Gaza continue.
The Israeli air force carried out air and drone strikes on Friday targeting positions of the Houthi rebel group in Yemen, including a power plant and a seaport.
The Israeli military said in a statement that it carried out the strikes in response to Houthi missile attacks targeting Israeli positions. An Israeli military official said that more than 20 warplanes had attacked Iran-backed Houthi rebels in Yemen.
Condemning Israel's strikes on Yemen, Iran's Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Saturday that the occupying Israeli forces have carried out a series of brutal attacks in Yemen. Tehran strongly condemns such unprecedented attacks.
Meanwhile, Lebanon's health ministry said at least two people were killed in an Israeli strike in the south of the country on Friday. The Israeli military said it targeted an arms truck belonging to the Lebanese armed group Hezbollah.
Lebanon's state-run National News Agency said Israel had launched a drone strike targeting a car in the Tyre Diba area of the coastal city of Tyre. A Lebanese security source, who spoke on condition of anonymity, told AFP that the drone hit a rocket launcher, causing multiple explosions.
The Gaza Health Ministry said yesterday afternoon that at least 32 Palestinians had been killed in Israeli attacks on Gaza in the 24 hours since yesterday afternoon. This brings the total number of Palestinians killed in the besieged territory since October 7, 2023, to 46,537. More than a million have been injured.
According to a report by Qatar-based media outlet Al-Jazeera, Israel carried out airstrikes across Gaza overnight on Friday. Most of the attacks were on residential areas, especially in the northern part of Gaza.
In addition to the airstrikes, Israeli forces carried out ground attacks on various parts of Gaza.
