Mohamed Salah’s future at Liverpool has been the subject of much speculation as the Egyptian superstar enters the final six months of his contract. With no indication of a renewal, Liverpool fans are increasingly anxious about losing one of their all-time greats.

In a recent interview, Salah revealed his final wish before departing Anfield: to win another English Premier League (EPL) title. "My goal this year is to win a title and make a big contribution, especially in the Premier League," Salah said.

Since joining Liverpool from AS Roma in 2017, Salah has cemented his status as one of the Premier League’s greatest players. Under Jürgen Klopp, he played a pivotal role in the club's victories in the Premier League and UEFA Champions League. His consistency has silenced early doubters, as he has scored at least 20 goals in each of his eight seasons with the club—a feat Salah calls "incredible" and a testament to his hard work.

Even under new coach Arne Slot this season, Salah continues to shine, contributing 23 goals and 17 assists in 32 matches. His remarkable form is a major reason Liverpool remains competitive in their pursuit of silverware.

For Salah, winning another Premier League title is not just a personal goal but a significant milestone for the club. "I believe it is important for this team to win another trophy," Salah explained. "When we won the Premier League, half of the team is gone.

There’s still me, Virgil (van Dijk), Trent (Alexander-Arnold), Alli (Alisson), Joe (Gomez), and Robbo (Andy Robertson) here. Six or seven players have already left. I think it’s important to win another title before we all leave."

Liverpool has achieved unprecedented success under Klopp, winning every major trophy, but Salah remains determined to add to their collection. "We’ve won everything, but we’ve only won the Premier League once. Hopefully, we can double that number. That would be great," he said.

Once dismissed as a "one-season wonder," Salah has repeatedly proven his critics wrong with his consistent performances. Reflecting on his achievements, he shared, "It's really incredible. I'm proud of it. I've worked hard."

As Salah approaches what could be his final months at Liverpool, his desire to secure another league title underscores his enduring commitment to the club and its legacy. Whether or not his wish comes true, Salah’s contributions have already earned him a lasting place in Liverpool’s storied history.
