The artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot 'ChatGPT', created by the American technology company OpenAI, can answer any question quickly and accurately. The chatbot can also write messages, articles or poems on its own according to the user's instructions. That is why many people use the chatbot regularly.
Now, OpenAI has introduced the opportunity to get answers to various questions by talking directly to ChatGPT. At the same time, WhatsApp messages can also be sent to the chatbot.
According to OpenAI, to talk directly to ChatGPT over the phone, you need to save the number '1-800-ChatGPT' in your phone's contact list. You can then call the number directly and talk to ChatGPT at any time. Initially, US residents will be able to use this feature for up to 15 minutes per month for free. This feature will be rolled out to users in other countries in phases.
OpenAI also demonstrated a sample of this new feature. The sample shows that after calling ChatGPT while traveling and requesting information about nearby attractions or historical sites, ChatGPT provides information based on the user's location and provides directions to get there. This means that with the introduction of this new feature, ChatGPT can be used as a personal assistant at any time.
"Our goal is to make artificial intelligence useful for humanity," said Kevin Weil, chief product officer of OpenAI. "The more accessible it is to people, the more successful our goal will be."
Emphasizing the protection of user data, OpenAI said that conversation data during phone calls or WhatsApp messages will not be used to train any of ChatGPT's models. As a result, users can use this feature with confidence.
