Oscar-winning 'Parasite' actor Lee Sun-kyun has died. Police recovered his body from a car next to a park in the heart of Seoul, the capital of South Korea. Police believe that he may have committed suicide. Lee Sun-kyun was 48 years old.

Korean news agency Yonhap reported that he wrote a 'suicide' note before leaving home.

Lee Sun-kyun was investigated by the police for taking illegal drugs last October. He was also interrogated. The court also banned the actor from traveling outside South Korea. He died in the meantime. One of the most popular actors in South Korea at the moment is Lee Sang-kyun. His death has cast a shadow of grief among producers and actors.

He was dropped from the TV series 'No Way Out' after Lee Sun Kyon's name was involved in a drug case. In personal life, Lee Sun-kyun is married, father of two children, and has an acting career spanning over two decades. Lee Sun-kyun has starred in dozens of movies and TV shows.

Released in 2019, 'Parasite' won four awards including Best Picture at the 2020 Oscars.
