Israel attacked a residential building near the Kuwaiti hospital in the Rafah area of southern Gaza. At least 20 people were killed. Al-Jazeera News did not say when the attack was carried out.
Reuters reported that 55 people were injured in the attack. Gaza Health Ministry spokesman Ashraf al-Qidra said the casualties were all civilians.
Marwan Al-Hams, Director of Abu Yousef Al-Najr Hospital in the Rafah area, said, "Stop this farce and massacre."
Meanwhile, eight Palestinians were killed in an Israeli airstrike on a house in Khan Yunis area of southern Gaza on Thursday night. Three Palestinians were killed and six wounded in an Israeli missile attack on a house in the Maghazi refugee camp, the Palestinian Red Crescent said.
Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant said in a press conference that they want to destroy Hamas completely.
Palestinian health officials say 210 people have been killed in Gaza in the past 24 hours as a result of Israeli strikes. At least 21 thousand 320 people have been killed and 55 thousand 603 injured in Gaza since the Israeli attack on October 7. The death toll from Hamas attacks in Israel has reached 1,139.
